Taking Your Test

DAY OF TEST

TEST DAY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • ARRIVE 15-20 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED TEST

  • Students need to present a valid picture ID. 

  • Bring the same ID you presented when you registered.

  • NO ID = NO TEST= NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Your picture will also be taken at check-in.

  • NO personal items allowed in testing room. Storage will be provided.

  • NO watches, hats, jackets, calculators, electronics, cell phones, iPods, MP3s, food or beverages, including water. (Please leave these items in your car or in the main office. If you are found with any of these items, you will be disqualified and asked to leave.)

  • Do not bring valuables to the test center.

  • NO jewelry allowed larger than ¼ inch long.

  • We are not be responsible for lost or stolen property.

  • All testing materials will be provided.

  • Remove your sunglasses and baseball caps upon entering the testing room.


SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • Students can request accommodation’s online when they create their account and complete the GED Testing Service Registration Form.

  • They should indicate their interest in applying for accommodations by selecting YES on the question that asks about testing modifications.

  • Accommodations are valid for one year.

  • If student was approved using paper and pencil tests, they may submit a request to transfer their accommodations from paper to computer.


PARKING

Park on the north side of campus or on the street. The parking lot is accessible from Moss Street. (Parking may be challenging depending on the time of day.)

Do NOT park in the main parking lot located in front of the main office. This is staff parking only. Any car that does not have a valid parking permit displayed will be towed.
