The CVA College & Career Center is also known as TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC). We are funded 100% by a grant from the United States Department of Education. Our main objective and passion is to assist interested individuals in exploring career options, applying to college and applying for financial aid. In addition, we also provide math tutoring, foreign degree advising, resume assistance, and community resource referrals. All services we provide are FREE!

Money for College
Financial aid for college or technical training is available to qualified individuals who apply using the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid ).

There are 3 general types of financial aid.

1. GRANTS = Money you do not have to pay back.

2. WORK-STUDY = More opportunities to find a job.

3. LOANS = Money you must pay back, but with low-interest rates.

Financial aid is awarded based on several factors such as family income and the number of people in the household. To find out if you are eligible for financial aid grants, work-study, or loans, apply now! We will be glad to assist you in filling out your FAFSA application today.
